Translating advice to credible visuals
Observations
- Many people seem to find it difficult to separate fact from fiction on the internet
- The same can be observed for companies: Every company is different, and most do not benefit from a medical adviser. They struggle to identify the best response as an employer and entrepreneur.
- People may find it hard to maintain social distancing after a couple of days.
Analysis and interpretation
- There may be a case for making a short / effective infographic or 3D animation about the virus itself. To inform the public and get rid of the fake news. To advise the people what they can do. This animation can lead to either the website of the WHO or their social media channels, where they can find all the information they need.
- The style should be easily recognizable as 'WHO', the public knows it’s from the WHO, so it’s trustworthy. We can make images / short animations to update, inform and advise the public in a fast way.
- We consider making infographics for different companies, self-employed, branch organizations etc. to inform/advise them what to do and to make the best out of this situation.
- Maybe an online quiz of some kind about the virus, can provide awareness for the public.
Consequences for action
- It seems that convincing people to maintain social distancing is the highest priority in this stage of the pandemic.
- it would be great if we had a 15-20 seconds infographic animation for that
- perhaps the StayTheFuckAtHome page could serve as an inspiration?
