This means that we have topics around the reservoir, around sources, and transmission routes, as part of the transmission chain in the external world. Next, we have topics around our immune system (generic barriers, specific response, passive and active immunization), as well as factors influencing the pathogenesis (impact of co-morbidities, genetic makeup, age, gender).

		+	Each of these topics will have an impact on our ability to create interventions to stop transmission or to reduce risk of severe disease. And in each of these topics, we will start with a limited amount of evidence, that grows day by day.
